No Mission, No Vision, No Clue

Mission Vision Clue
By Detlef.
Damn it! This blog doesn’t even have a tagline. Hmmm. Where do we want to go? Where do we belong?

  • No mission
  • No vision
  • No statement
  • No clue
  • How about you?

If you care
please do share.

Hey, you!
What do you care about?

    hello Detlef,

i just stumbled upon your presence on the internet and i like ityou. actually, originally i was looking for a children song and that was like hitting a goldmine. so great. thank you.

anyway, to get to your question or let your question get at me: the first thing that came to my mind was: i care about me. even when i care about other people or things it seesm i do so because “i” want to feel happy. on second thought probably its totally different and on third thougth maybe the even less answerable, but more definately so, question would be: “who or what is it that is caring in me?”

but since it seems like you know about the unanswerable questions, maybe you were actually asking on the answerable level. I care about: – hope that somehow living conditions get better for more people and animals and plants this planet, a hope recently magically rekindled by obama. – desire that i can somehow contribute to that with my means – an urge to get enlightened and for everybody to do so too whether they want or not.. – the wish to live in inner peace with my girlfriend and all women (and of course with men but thats no so difficult). – finishing my phd. – food – what you will think of this message – and everbody else- being here, now, happy with caring and notcaring, caring about happyness and unhappyness, notcaring about notcaring, caring about caring, caring about notcaring , getting out of my head into

    thanks for asking!

    be well
    Nikolaus

    Hi Nikolaus!

Thank you for the feedback, that’s extraordinary kind of you!

Interesting perspective: “who or what is it that is caring in me?” The inner self? Our common unconscious? Honestly: I don’t know the answer.
You find women more difficult to get along with than men? There was a time when I felt that way, but that has changed. Is there a reason you feel that way?
Yes, and I certainly wish Obama and all of us a peaceful and successful 4 (or 4 more) years.

I care that we cling to the side of this spinning rock together, regardless on which quadrant, and the insect like smudge across a windshield we might make or might not make, that the opportunity exists to articulate…I care about that…

The wisdom of convalescence. I like that about us humans being in this together. And smudge on a windshield or not: we articulate, we fieel.

This takes me back to our discussion at your place, involving Yogi Bhajan and the book of Job.

That’s what I care about: Sometimes we may feel like smudge on a windshield – and it doesn’t seem right.

Thou shalt not judge – very difficult.
