The lucky loving trees

They loved each other madly, but somehow they couldn’t get together.

As they grew older, the sun setting on their lifes, they lost all their leaves, their wood decayed but their love only grew. They desperately tried to touch each other for just one time – but it never happened.

I believe they were lucky trees.

      Thank you, Jeb. That reminds me of that famous dictum by Thersa d’ Avila that more tears are shed because of answered prayers than because of the unanswered ones.
