Going home where we all come from

Ships on our long way to shore we are passing strange places.
Each one of us alone, our speed defined by the flow or by the short, sometimes long stops in a harbor which sometimes may seem to be a home.

It isn’t.

And while we are doing serious business, the river is doing business with us in a gentle, loving, merciless, cruel, inevitable way.

Dissolving.
