But  in rotting it becomes sweet food for the blackbirds, the hedgehogs, the worms and eventually dung or the seed for a new apple tree. Still: some apples cling to the apple stadium. “Oh, that was my best time, hanging around on a tree together with my friends, the sun and the wind caressing us and life a long avenue in front of us!” 😉
