A compound inside the soul

A compound inside the soul. Secured by walls, guards, barbed wire. Inside: the terrorist and his wife, trying to survive, trying to leave no traces. Communicating to the outside world via trusted messengers.

A compound like a cancer. Life around it is normal, ignorant of the danger. Body cells playing “business as usual”.
